Michael Jordan's "last shot" is among one of the most memorable moments in NBA history. Sure, Michael Jordan technically finished his career as the elderly statesman of a struggling Washington Wizards team in 2003, but most of us recognize June 14, 1998 as the end of the true Air Jordan Era. Late in Game 6 of the 1998 Finals, MJ stripped the ball from Utah Jazz forward Karl Malone, dribbled the ball up the court, put a crossover on Bryon Russell and proceeded to knock down what proved to be the Championship-clinching jumper just inside of the top of the key. Jordan would never suit up in a Chicago Bulls uniform again.

For that game, Jordan gave the world a preview of the Air Jordan XIV, which wasn't set to release until later that fall. He wore the Black/Varsity Red colorway, which would later be dubbed  the "Last Shots" because of the historic jumper made in Game 6. One of the single most popular Jordans in the line, the "Last Shots" returned to retail in 2005 and will do so once again this holiday season.

Here's a detailed look at the 2011 "Last Shot" Air Jordan Retro 14 release. The sleek, black-based sneaker featured a ribbed leather and smooth nubuck upper with varsity red hits on the toe, tongue bar, heel and midsole. A Ferrari-inspired yellow Jumpman shield adorns the lateral ankle of the shoe, while a predominantly black rubber outsole completes the look below. Outside of some pretty obvious material changes, this release remains pretty true to the original.
